Oppo just announced its brand new flagship phone in Paris - the Find X. It includes some interesting design choices, the most significant being its stealth camera that only pops up when you turn the phone on or open the camera app.
But in actual fact, the Find X has a 25-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3D facial scanning system.
The Find X is a dual-SIM phone with worldwide LTE band support and will be officially sold in Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands for €999 starting in August.
During the event, OPPO has announced that the Find X will carry a price tag of European Union 999 which is around RM 4,636 after conversion. There's no built-in fingerprint scanner in the display or at the back of the phone, and it relies entirely on it's front camera for security, and since the front camera only reveals when it is activated, OPPO claims that it could open the camera in just 0.5 seconds, which is actually quite fast.

At the moment, the Vivo Nex is only available in China and it's not clear whether it'll come to more countries. Oppo uses the 3D Structured Light Technology to map out the nose, eyes, and other facial features, and "personalize your selfie" as a result.
It's worth noting that Oppo isn't the first hardware maker to try hiding a front camera within the body: last week, Vivo debuted the Nex, which features a smaller pop-up camera at the top of the device body.

OPPO has finally launched a new Find-series flagship smartphone that is long due. This is a high-end phone with a Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, a 6.4-inch curved OLED, and up to 256GB of storage. Oppo has integrated a tiny motorized mechanism into the top panel of the Find X to incorporate a notch less all screen design. With all the glass and motorized components on the Oppo Find X, the fear of breaking the phone amplifies substantially. There is no fingerprint sensor on the device.
