While Giuliani agreed that Trump pardoning himself could move into murky legal precedents, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, also on ABC Sunday, noted, "If the president were to pardon himself, he'll get impeached".
An attorney for President Trump stressed Sunday that the president's legal team would contest any effort to force the president to testify in front of a grand jury during the special counsel's Russian Federation probe but downplayed the idea that Trump could pardon himself.
"If he shot James Comey, he'd be impeached the next day", Giuliani said.

As Axios reported, Russian Federation investigation Special Counsel Robert Mueller is believed to have Trump under investigation for possible obstruction of justice, particularly for Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey in May of 2017. "That's not what the American people, I think, would be able to stand for". Many hit out at the idea of the president abusing the pardon power, while others raged at the perceived double standard employed by his personal attorney.
The president's power to issue pardons is spelled out in Article II of the Constitution. The team have reportedly been somewhat open at times to an interview with Robert Mueller's team, but it's far from clear if it will ever actually happen. "In this investigation, the crimes are really silly", he said, arguing that the firing of Comey a year ago could not be construed as obstruction of justice because Trump had the right to fire him at any time and for any reason. OLC is the Office of Legal Counsel, the elite legal analysis team for the attorney general and the Department of Justice (DOJ), and through the attorney general, to the president and every department of the USA government. Giuliani based that claim on his reading of the Constitution, and the fact that the Attorney General is appointed by the President (though AG Jeff Sessions has recused himself from the investigation). Mr Trump has previously said he might be willing to attend but his lawyers appear opposed, fearing it could lead to charges of perjury.
Giuliani, a former prosecutor, was not on Trump's legal team when the letter to Mueller was written.
There is an argument for self-pardoning from a president. Trump, like most presidents, has plenty of rich and powerful friends and a much longer list of rich and powerful people who would like to be his friends.

What about the political ramifications?
Giuliani said that Trump would not exercise this broad power by demanding information or actions from the Justice Department.
A court battle is likely if Trump's team argues that the president can't be forced to answer questions or be charged with obstruction of justice.
"The president of the United States pardoning himself would just be unthinkable, and it would lead to probably an immediate impeachment", Giuliani added. "But that is all the president's decision". "Should have told me!"

However, this series of angry declaiming tweets began earlier, as on May 26, Trump previously blamed "13 Angry Democrats". That wasn't Trump's only tweet about the Russian Federation investigation today.
