The Puerto Rico Electrical Power Authority have flaunted Wednesday early morning that ONLY 3 per-cent of its own clients are without electrical power, significantly wrapping up just what several estimations named the largest electrical power failing within US history. Grimm, a civil land and energy contractor based in Conroe, Texas, took down a transmission line while working to restore power to the island on Wednesday.
"This is the second power failure that has affected the people of Puerto Rico in less than a week", Rossello said.
Most of the island had had its power restored as Puerto Rico began the process of rebuilding its decimated electrical grid after Hurricane Maria struck in September and knocked out power to almost 1.4 million customers.
"Together with PREPA, we look forward to fully restoring power across the island and bringing a sense of normalcy back to the people of Puerto Rico", Straehla said.

"The grid is so fragile and they're just barely able to get the lights back on". Outdated power grids like the one in Puerto Rico are becoming less reliable so southern USA states such as Texas, Florida, and Louisiana as well as Caribbean Islands started to show more interest in solar energy.
On Wednesday, Mammoth Energy attempted to explain how the latest massive power outage occurred.
Mammoth Energy, the parent company of Cobra, said in a statement to ABC News "Cobra is dedicated to the hard work that lies ahead and continues to work around-the-clock with PREPA and the citizens of Puerto Rico to fix the entire infrastructure system to prevent outages such as this one from affecting the entire population on the island". Wednesday was the first island-wide blackout since Hurricane Maria tore through on September 20, 2017. "Rebuilding the generating capability of Puerto Rico was not the Corps of Engineers' task".
