Houston police said sports reporter Courtney Roland was in a "state of confusion" when they located her near a Houston overpass Monday morning. Police say most of the time she was missing, she was searching for her phone - which was found in her auto.
Investigators later found Roland's Jeep Cherokee parked outside the mall around midnight.
"If somebody has her, we just want to tell them we love you too", Courtney Roland's father, Steve Roland, told KHOU.

It's unclear now how the Justice Department's move will impact recreational and medical marijuana markets around the country. She has not publicly said what her position will be on marijuana and did not immediately respond Thursday to messages.
Police also posted on Twitter that officers found Roland's white Jeep vehicle parked inside a Galleria garage with her phone and other items inside while her purse was found at a nearby business. She appeared to be unharmed, Houston police tweeted.
No further information was released. Police say they won't immediately say where she was found. Roland and her roommate meant to meet up later that day, but she never appeared. The address where she was found was not provided by police.
KPRC reported that Roland texted her roommate about a suspicious man she saw in a Walgreens who followed her to home in a blue truck.

Brian Perroni, a reporter with sports news site 247Sports and who described himself as a family friend, told NBC News that Roland's auto, purse and phone were found in the Galleria mall area Sunday afternoon.
Police said Courtney Roland, 29, was found near the shopping mall where she was last seen a day earlier.
Police said Roland did not appear to know that anyone was looking for her.
