An anonymous donor left a gold coin in a Salvation Army Red Kettle in St. Matthews.
Public Relations & Development Representative, Shannon Wise, says they are $38,000 short of reaching their Kettle Campaign goal of $315,000 this year. Local officials believe the charity will meet or surpass its $515,000 fundraising goal for the year.
