The 30-year-old, who played a cheerleader in the hit Fox show, was arrested at a home in Kanawha County, West Virginia, yesterday amid claims she had hit her hubby Ryan Dorsey, 34, in the head, reports local TV station WSAZ-TV. She was released on $1000 bail, and Dorsey's father picked up Rivera from jail.
In a video from local news station WSAZ, a soft-spoken Rivera is shown handcuffed and wearing a gray hoodie and dark trousers while being arraigned.
Mrs. Rivera was arrested, charged with domestic battery. She wished fans "Happy Thanksgiving" days ago.
